Roses 3 metal print by Hanne Lore Koehler. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

"A rose by any other name is still a rose" ...
My mom had the most gorgeous rose garden with all kinds of glorious colors and fragrances. She delighted in each new bud that graced her garden and appreciated its special beauty as it blossomed; but she never knew (or cared to know) its name. She loved it for what it was - not for what it was named.
My watercolor collection of roses is a tribute to her love and appreciation of this magnificent flower. Although the colors vary from one painting to another, I have kept my rose paintings to the same size and square format so that they can be hung in a colorful group. Like my mom, I will leave their names to the experts.
Ornamental roses have been cultivated for millennia. Many thousands of rose hybrids and cultivars have been bred and selected for garden use as flowering plants. Most are double-flowered with many or all of the stamens having mutated into additional petals.
