Description

I love how a digital manipulation program can totally change the atmosphere of a painting. I realize that the bright bold morning sunrise colors in my MISTY ROCK ISLAND SUNRISE painting (also in this gallery) are not for everyone or for every space. I have toned down the bright colors here so that they will suit almost every space and decor. I find it fascinating that this can change the whole feel and mood of the painting - instead of bright misty morning sunshine, you have a mysterious island on a moody misty day.

This island is representative of many in the thousands of lakes of Ontario, Maine, New England, Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin, Manitoba, Haliburton, Muskoka, Huntsville, Perry Sound and Georgian Bay.
