Description
I was commissioned to paint this watercolor portrait of a charming Missouri home by the children who grew up here as a gift for their parents who had reluctantly sold this treasure. They had the unique request that I include their dad's work van in the painting which had special significance. They supplied me with separate photos of the home in early spring and truck and requested that I look at the Google map street view and use it as reference to paint the home in its full summer glory.
I can imagine all the wonderful family memories that were made here - all those joyful family gatherings that remain in your heart for a lifetime. What a thoughtful way to show their parents that they cherished their childhood memories of this family home. This thoughtful gift is sure to be appreciated and treasured.
