Competitive figure skating involves the completion of a variety of required elements. In this painting, I have tried to portray the agility, flexibility, balance, strength and endurance necessary for Olympic competition as this graceful skater performs a flawless passionate routine. This FREE SPIRIT painting was featured on the cover of SHOWCASE MAGAZINE in the February 2014 issue in honor of the 2014 Olympic Games in Sochi Russia.

Born in Aachen, Germany, I grew up in Ontario, Canada, where I still live with my husband (the love of my life) and family, from which comes the inspiration for much of my work.
