Artist's Description
A blazing sunset appears like fire in the sky behind three frenzied running horses. I let the watercolor run to the bottom of the page to represent the water of my title: FIREWATER.
The term used in westerns for moonshine, white lightning, mountain dew, hooch, homebrew, and white whiskey which are used to describe high-proof distilled spirits that are generally produced illicitly is FIREWATER. This bold watercolor image is my expression of this western theme.

Born in Aachen, Germany, I grew up in Ontario, Canada, where I still live with my husband (the love of my life) and family, from which comes the inspiration for much of my work.
