Description
AVI-ator seemed an appropriate title for my digital manipulation of a photo of my original watercolor painting (Sky High Skier- also in this gallery) of famous mogul skier, Avital Caroll (née Shimko). Based on one of two commissioned paintings of this beautiful talented athlete, an Austrian and former American mogul skier on the Austrian Olympic team, I used a digital manipulation program to add the exciting vectors that trace Avi's aerial movements and suggest the air currents surrounding this amazing skier in flight.
