Description
At the request of my client, I painted this watercolor painting commission of a lakeside summer house on Lake Muskoka with a snowy winter landscape view. Ontario's Near North cottage country typically gets plenty of snow as shown by the snow-covered trees. The lake freezes over - perfect for ice fishing, skating and snowmobiling!
In traditional watercolor style, I do not use white paint - the white that you see is the white of the paper so some planning and preliminary drawing is necessary in order to paint the exact architectural portrait requested.
