Description
This is one of two home portraits commissioned by my client. She ordered a painting of each of her sons' homes to give them as a gift. She sent me photos to use as reference. The photo of this beautiful ranch house was taken on a dull cloudy day and the scene appeared a bit bland. With her permission, I added some sunshine and shadows to inject some life into the painting. She also requested a flowerbed of daffodils under the tree and the replacing of a Japanese Maple tree near the front entrance which had died and has not yet been replaced.

Wonderful ranch house portrait execution! I don't know if the "heart" shapes in the right side of the painting are in the reference photo, but they are amazing, giving to this house, the "home" idea. I love this art piece! Congratulations!
