Description
I was commissioned to paint this wonderful Oklahoma country home in watercolor as a birthday gift from a husband to his wife. Unfortunately, this beautiful home was destroyed by fire. There were only three photos of different areas and views of the home that I could use as reference. It was quite the challenge to compose this painting from those photos and I had to extrapolate and guess at a few details. I added cloud shadows to the lawn and driveway and a reflecting puddle to the long driveway for interest and to bring some life to the watercolor.
