Description
I was commissioned to paint this watercolor painting of four friends enjoying scenery, companionship and a beautiful summer day cruising along the spectacular shoreline of Lake Muskoka, Ontario in a classic antique wooden powerboat. Muskoka Woody proudly flies the flag of Ontario, Canada as they glide through pristine lake water. Cottages, docks of colorful Muskoka chairs and forest line the shore. Reflections sparkle in the water.
My client supplied a number of photos of the boat and separate photos of the cottage and dock which he also wanted in the painting. The lighting in each photo was from a different source and angle and had to be adjusted in order to unify the painting. Order a painting of your own boat - free estimate. The vintage boat is a gem, and I am impressed as always at how you are easily able to take several photographs and put them together for your commissions. Not easy! The reflections on the choppy water are expertly painted!
