Description
The is a closeup (about 3 ft. x 4 ft.section) of a happy little owl sitting on a high 3rd story branch of a maple tree that spans a three-story wall mural that I painted in the entrance stairwell to a church basement preschool facility. Although the preschool itself has lovely big windows to let in the daylight, this back entrance that leads from the parking lot where parents let out their children needed some sprucing up to make the children feel welcome and the preschool inviting. I painted a cheerful wall mural scene of forest creatures on all the drab concrete and cinder block walls that wind around the 3-story stairwell. The space is a little less intimidating for small children when they are greeted with the happy faces in my Furry Forest Friends mural as they arrive at their preschool daycare.
