Description
This abstract garden impression image is a combination of two original paintings that have been overlaid. The bottom layer is a section of my acrylic fern painting called FOREVER FERNS (also in this gallery). In a photo manipulation program, I copied a small 3" x 3" watercolor painting that I did more than thirty years ago and added this layer to the first. I experimented with digital special effects to create this summer garden composition.
This Summer GARDEN IMPRESSIONS painting and POPPY IMPRESSIONS (also in this gallery) are meant to be paired; however, they are bold enough to stand on their own merits and would make a wonderful large canvas art print to enhance your great room or loft decor. Although the original paintings were only 3" x 3", art prints can be ordered as large as 48" x 48" to make a bold statement on your wall and focal point of your unique decor!
